Seriously the best omelette I've ever made (or My First Omelette)

Thank me later...

Ok, so this is some left over rib-eye I sliced thinnish and warmed up slightly in a pan

Mozzarella and Gordo's Cheese dip

Scramble 2 ...3 eggs
Sprinkle how ever much Crushed Red Pepper and stir into your eggs

Set your pan that you warmed the steak in (for extra deliciousness) over low setting

Add your steak to half your eggies..

Add a dollop (use your own judgement) of Gordo's

Sprinkle a little mozz..
listen here, too much cheese makes the omelette set a little wet instead of dry like most people like it
 just so you know..

Ok so i don't have any pictures of the important part because it got a little intense.. sorry..
Basically, turn your stove up to med-low, wait until the sides start to separate from the side of the pan..
and the middle isn't all soupy.. and bubbles a little..
then take a spatula, get it under one side
flip it over the other side..
now this is tricky, but don't fret, if you mess up, you still have delicious scramblies
wait a moment..
flip it over again, check the doneness
if you're satisfied..
BAM you have an omelette

Alright, so i never cook.. like EVER.. and now i've cooked two days in a row.. something weird must be happening to me.. or the devil's cabbage is inspiring a deep need for home cooked food..
anyhow..
i had some left over steak from last night and thought of doing like a philly cheesesteak omelette..
well i have no peppers or onions.. but like most chubby girls, I HAVE CHEESE!

this is where most blogs put the proper ingredient list, the how to, all the itchy schematics..
but honestly, don't adhere to what a recipe says.. live a little..
think outside the box.. or inside.. or whatever..
as long as you have the basic idea that an omelette is eggs with stuff in it..
you're already half way done with the meal..

i've never made an omelette before, but i had a general idea of how to make it so i just effin went for it..
warmed up my steak, scrambled some eggs, added stuff i thought would go good together and holy hell in a hand basket, it was absolutely amazing..
which just goes to show you.. a) you don't have to do something a lot to be good at it.. and 2) sometimes you just have to effin go for it.. yes i know i said a.. and then 2.. don't judge me..

so seriously.. learn something from life and realize that just because you don't know how to do something, doesn't mean you aren't going to be good at it if you try..

i did the same thing back in december when i was making my families' xmas presents.. i wanted to do the cool drippy crayon wax 'paintings' that i'd seen on pinterest so i disassembled a hot glue gun, unwrapped some crayons, broke a foam-board into fourths, spray painted black and..
well...

it's the effin JOKER.. seriously pretty cool for my first time doing anything remotely like this in more than ten years..
and then i did this...

it's a zombie, numbnuts..

seriously though, not bad for the first time i tried..

MORAL OF THE STORY:

try new things.. you never know what you're going to be good at..
